The South Bank, across Westminster Bridge, puts you by the London Eye and close to Waterloo station, about 1,400 m from the Abbey. Whitehall and Embankment, to the north, are closest to Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross station, about 1,100 m from the Abbey. Victoria, about 1,700 m away, is a bigger hotel area with direct buses (11, 24 and 148) to the Abbey.
